FIXED MINDSETS

BLAME GAME : MINDSET OF POLITICIANS & MEDIA ?

SIRS,
             THIS  IS  IN  REFERENCE  TO  THE  INTERVIEW  OF  GEN  V K SINGH, Ex ARMY CHIEF  BY  VARIOUS  MEDIA  PERSONS.
 
2           GEN  WAS  TALKING  ABOUT  USING  SECRET  FUNDS  FOR   VARIOUS  WELFARE  MEASURES  THAT  THE  ARMY  CARRIED  OUT  IN  J & K  TO  HELP-OUT  NEEDY  CHILDREN AS ALSO  OTHER CATEGORIES  OF  NEEDY  KASHMIRI  PEOPLE  etc.  .HE  HAD  SAID  THAT  MONEY  WAS  GIVEN  TO  MINISTERS  AND  OTHER  RESPONSIBLE  PERSONALITIES  THROUGH  WHOM  VARIOUS  PROJECTS  WERE  CARRIED  OUT.   ON  INCESSANT  QUESTIONING,  HE  DID  SAY  THAT  EVERY  RUPEE  WAS  PROPERLY  ACCOUNTED  FOR,  AS  PER  USUAL  ARMY  PROCEDURES.  BUT  ,,, !
 
3           EVERY  SINGLE  BIG-SHOT ( INCLUDING  THE  CHIEF  MINISTER )  MISINTERPRETTED  THROUGH  THE  USUAL  POLITICIAN’S  MIND  SET  AND  STARTED  SHOUTING  FROM  THE  TOP  OF  THEIR  ROOFS  ASKING  THE  GEN  TO  DISCLOSE  THE  NAMES  OF  THE  RECEIPIENTS  (  OF  THE  PAY-OFF  UNDER  THE  TABLE  ?).   AND  WOULD  YOU  BELIEVE,  THE  MEDIA  ALSO  JOINED  IN  THE  CHORUS ( TO  BE  ABLE  TO  START  ANOTHER  SCANDAL  ? )   SOME  OF  THESE  BIG-WIGS  HAVE  EVEN  ASKED  FOR  PROBE /  ENQUIRIES  TO  TAKE  ACTION  AGAINST  THE  GEN.
 
4           DO  WE  NEED  TO  PITY  THEM  FOR  THEIR  VERY  NARROW  MINDSETS  ?       WHICH   WOULD   ALSO   ROLL-OUT  UNHEALTHY  ATMOSPHERES  ?  
 
             GOD  GUIDE  THEM.      JAI  HIND.
